Mechanic

Job Description:

Tvirtas Construction Corporation is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles and equipment used for our geotechnical engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems in various vehicles and equipment, including dump trucks, backhoes, loaders, and other construction machinery.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of the equipment.

• Conduct repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.

• Replace worn-out parts and ensure the use of high-quality replacement components.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and equipment operators regarding mechanical issues.

• Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the maintenance shop.

Requirements:

• Minimum of [Number] years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with experience in heavy equipment maintenance (adjust based on your needs).

• Working knowledge of various mechanical systems, including engines, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical components.
