Safety Officer (With or Without Experience)

Job Description:

Tvirtas Construction Corporation is seeking a proactive and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Safety Officer. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, subcontractors, and visitors on our geotechnical engineering and construction projects. Responsibilities will vary depending on your experience level, but may include:

• For candidates with experience:

  • Developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety programs

  • Conducting regular safety inspections and audits

  • Identifying and mitigating potential hazards on construction sites

  • Investigating accidents and incidents, and recommending corrective actions

  • Providing safety training and education to employees

  • Maintaining accurate safety documentation and records

  • Staying up-to-date on relevant safety regulations and best practices

• For candidates with no prior experience:

  • Assisting senior safety officers with inspections and documentation

  • Learning safety protocols and procedures

  • Contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

  • Gaining valuable experience in construction safety

Requirements (For All):

• Strong commitment to safety and a proactive approach

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

• Valid government-issued IDs (e.g., Passport, Driver's License)

Requirements (For Experienced Candidates):

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction safety

• Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and regulations

• Possession of a valid COSH Certificate
